In my station you buy a ticket, you get on a train and you go where you say you're going to go. Expect nothing. Bloody hell.

On the border of an unnamed country, there is a small town with a station where the trains don’t stop anymore. Two foreigners turn up and settle down to wait for a train that will never come. The stationmaster doesn’t know what to make of them, and neither do the residents as they meet in the local bar.  

In this microcosm of a world where people are driven from their homelands to seek refuge somewhere else, nationalism and racism conflict with the search for identity, home and kinship.
